Munir pens new Barca contract

By Football News

Promising Barcelona forward Munir El Haddadi has penned a new contract to continue his breakthrough campaign.
Munir's stock has seen a rapid rise in 2014 with the forward making debuts for Barca's B and full team as well as Spain Under-19s, Under-21s and the senior national side all in the same year.
The 19-year-old's contract still runs to 2017, although his buy-out clause has been considerably raised to €35million.
Since scoring on his senior Barca debut against Elche in August, he has not managed to hit the net in 11 subsequent first-team outings.
Munir's first-team chances have dried up since Luis Suarez's introduction to the fold from his biting ban.
He has featured just once in La Liga since the Uruguayan's elevation to Luis Enrique's XI, dropping back to B-team level to maintain fitness.

LFP clamp down on abusive chants

By Football News

The Liga de Futbol Profesional (LFP) has reported a number of instances of alleged abusive chants to the Anti-Violence Commission.
The LFP has been urged to clamp down on the issue of abusive chanting in Spain's top flight as well as the behaviour of ultras following the death of a Deportivo La Coruna supporter amid fan troubles prior to their game with Atletico Madrid last month.
Certain Depor and Atletico supporters have been banned by their clubs following the incident, with the LFP sending a number of reports to see if they are worthy of reaching the Competition Committee.
In total, five of the 21 matches played on matchday 14 of La Liga and matchday 16 of the Segunda Division are the subject of reports for "violent actions or behaviour" or "racist, xenophobic or intolerant actions".
Among the reports are apparent chants directed at Barcelona star Lionel Messi by sections of Real Madrid fans as well as ones from Granada supporters targeted at Valencia forward Alvaro Negredo.
Deportivo are also among those reported with fans alleged to have been involved in unsavoury chants against Atletico and their own president Constantino Fernandez along with Rayo Vallecano's supporters during their defeat to Real Betis.
Barcelona fans have been reported for their part in chants during the recent Catalan derby with Espanyol.

Real Madrid has never been more dedicated to breaking world's record

A lot of big football names have worn Real Madrid's jersey. Along with the generations that have written the history of this club, the current squad is also facing a significant record that might be set.
The Galacticos are facing a world record that could bring them on the top of the list as a team with the most consecutive row of wins. Cristiano Ronaldo and his fellas have won 18 consecutive times with which they evened the number of games that Jose Mourinho set back with the same team in the 2011/2012 season.
Real Madrid's boss, Florentino Perez, claims to be the first president in the world that has the opportunity to hold such great record. His big number purchases of making this generation one of the best are a living proof of touching all-time glory.
The quality of Carlo Ancelotti's work is surely immeasurable. If his team wins over Ludogorets tonight in the Champions League, which is obviously an easy job for Real, the next challenge is the world record in consecutive wins.
The record is held by the Brazilian team Coritiba. They managed to win 24 consecutive times in 2011, with which they entered into the Guinness book as a team with most consecutive win spread.
It is not an impossible mission at all, but it isn't an easy challenge as well. The most tough challenge will come in Morocco, where Real Madrid faces San Lorenzo in the FIFA Club World Cup.
If theGalacticos manage to pass the record of Brazilian's Coritiba and win 25 times in a row, they will become the most successful team in the history of sport.
But that is not all. The next goal for them will be "A team with longest series of wins in sport". Many sports collide in this competition and Real could face breaking the record of the golden generation ofLos Angeles Lakers in 1971/1972 season, when Will Chamberlain, Jerry West and their team managed to win 33 consecutive times!
However, Real should focus primarily on breaking football's record, and what will come next will be discussed. One thing is for sure, they are playing amazing this season and nothing is impossible.
